Memory backup

The CR-505 uses a battery-less memory backup system in order to retain radio presets and other settings when it’s unplugged or in case of a power failure. Although no batter- ies are required, the CR-505 must be plugged into an AC outlet in order to charge the backup system.

Once it has been charged, the CR-505 will retain the set- tings for several weeks, although this depends on the envi- ronment and retention will be shorter in humid climates. The clock setting is not retained by the backup system.
