INPUT
This method allows you to start recording in synchronization with the input signals from the Onkyo products that are not equipped with an z connector or other manufacturer's products. When recording with the Onkyo products equipped with an zconnector, refer to “Synchronous recording” on page 24.
Notes:
Note the following when using synchronous recording for digital input sources.
•Sources other than CDs, MDs, DATs, and DCCs cannot be recorded.
•DATs and DCCs cannot be recorded if no start ID is present before audio contents.
•Synchronous recording uses a
Select “Digital In 1,” “Digital In 2,” or “Analog In” for the input source.

Proceed to step 3 if you do not wish to adjust the recording level.
2 Start playback of the recording source.
3 Press the oREC button.
“Rec Setup” appears in the display followed by the time display.
