Notes:
•You cannot finalize your disc which may have an artist name or track titles but no disc name on it. With such a disc, “Name Disc” will appear when you press the FINALIZE button. In this case, enter a disc name before finalizing the disc (see page 28).
•Never turn off the power or remove the power cord during finalization. Doing so may damage all the data on the disc. An inserted disc can be corrupt and no longer usable if the power is accidentally turned off or in case of power failure.
•Never finalize discs that are scratched, dirty, or dusty. Doing so may prevent the process from being properly completed. If the process does not finish in 10 minutes, press the eSTOP button and abort the process. This disc will not be able to be played with normal CD players.
•During finalization, the operation button on the
Finalization begins. During finalization, the remaining time is displayed. (Finalization takes approx. 2 minutes.)
Auto finalization
You can perform auto finalization during synchronous recording by input signal detection (see page 22). When auto finalization is turned on, finalization occurs automatically at the end of recording. For details, refer to the applicable pages.
