Input Source

The following audio formats are supported by the listening modes.

AThis is mono (monophonic) sound.

SThis is stereo (stereophonic) sound. Two independent audio signal channels are reproduced through two speakers.

DThis is 5.1-channel surround sound. This surround system has five main channels of sound and a sixth subwoofer channel (called the point-one channel).

F*1 This is 7.1-channel surround sound. This is a further sound enhancement to 5.1-channel sound with two additional speakers that provide greater sound envelopment and more accurate positioning of sounds.

*1 The AV receiver outputs this source in 5.1-channel surround sound.
