The following operation is possible using either of the following remote controllers: RC-409MD (supplied)

RC-456S (supplied with the A-905TX/R-805TX amplifier)

Repeatedly playing all tracks of an MD

Press the REPEAT button on the remote controller just once.

Repeatedly playing a single track

When the desired track is playing, press the REPEAT button on the remote controller twice.

•If the REPEAT button is pressed during Memory play...

Only the programmed tracks play repeatedly in the programmed order.

•If the REPEAT button is pressed during Random play...

The contents of the entire MD play again repeatedly. The playing order changes each time a random play begins.

Note

In Memory play or Random play, you cannot repeat the currently playing track (REPEAT 1).

To stop the Repeat play

Press the REPEAT button once or twice until the “REPEAT” indicator disappears.

Note

You can also use the Eject button or STANDBY/ON button to stop the repeat of all tracks or a single track.

The following operation is possible only when you use the supplied remote controller (RC-409MD).

Repeatedly playing a section of a track (A-B Repeat) (RC-409MD only)

1 While the track is playing, specify the beginning of the section you wish to repeat playing by pressing the A-B button on the remote controller (Point A).

2 While the track is still playing, specify the end of the section by pressing the A-B button on the remote controller (Point B) a second time.

Section A to B of the track will be repeated.

To stop A-B Repeat

•Press the A-B or REPEAT button when a section is in Repeat play.

The A-B Repeat mode is now canceled.

•Press the button when a section is in Repeat play.

The A-B Repeat mode is canceled and play of the current track stops.

Note

A-B Repeat cannot be used when the unit is in Repeat (all-track or single-track), Memory, or Random play.
