Erasing a track
The following operation is possible when the unit is stopped or paused.
1 Turn the AMCS knob until the track number you want to erase is displayed.

2 Press the EDIT/NO button and turn the AMCS knob to select “Erase ?”

To stop erasing a track
Press the EDIT/NO button until “Erase?” disappears, or press the button.
3 Press the AMCS knob.
The selected track is erased. When the erasing is complete, “Complete” appears in the display.

Updating the track numbers

•When a track is erased, the tracks following that track are advanced. Each track is assigned a new number. For example, if you erase track 2, track 3 will be renumbered as track 2; track 4 will be renumbered as track 3, and so on.
Note
While the TOC indicator is lit or flashing, do not move or unplug the MD recorder.
