To name a disc

The MD recorder must be stopped.

To name a track

The MD recorder may be stopped, paused, playing, or recording.

(The characters being entered are canceled if the track that is playing or being recorded changes.)

1 Turn the AMCS knob until the track number for which you want to enter a name is displayed.

To name a disc, start from step 2, skipping step 1.

Note

When the MD recorder is paused, playing, or recording, the displayed track number is selected. Therefore this step is unnecessary.

To stop naming a disc or track

Press the EDIT/NO button several times until “Name In?” disappears, or press the button.

3 Press the AMCS knob.

The blinking cursor appears.

2 Press the EDIT/NO button and turn the AMCS knob to select “Name In ?”.

To cancel the naming operation while the

cursor is blinking...

While pressing and holding down the EDIT/NO button, press the YES button. Alternatively, press the button.

Or, with the supplied remote controller, press the NAME button.
