Specify the distance from the front left speaker to your listening position.

The setup menu closes.

On the TX-SR602/602E and TX-SR8260, the Center and Subwoofer distances can be set up to 5 ft. (1.5 m) more or less than the Front distance. For example, if the Front distance is set to 20 ft. (6 m), the Center and Subwoofer distances can be set between 15 and 25 ft. (4.5 and 7.5 m). The SurrRight, Surr Left, and Surr Back distances can be set up to 5 ft. (1.5 m) more or 15 ft. (4.5 m) less than the Front distance. For exam- ple, if the Front distance is set to 20 ft. (6 m), the Sur- rRight, Surr Left, and Surr Back distances can be set between 5 and 25 ft. (1.5 and 7.5 m).

This procedure can also be performed on the AV receiver by using its [SETUP] button, arrow buttons, and [ENTER] button.

Notes:

On the TX-SR702/702E, if the distance between the furthest and nearest speakers is greater than 20 feet (6 meters), corrected values suitable for home theater use will be set automatically.
