ACOMPONENT VIDEO IN 1, 2, 3 (28, 30, 32)

These component video inputs can be used to con- nect AV components with component video outputs, such as DVD players.

BAM ANTENNA (24)

These push terminals are for connecting an AM antenna.

CCOMPONENT VIDEO OUT (27)

This component video output can be used to con- nect a TV or projector with a component video input.

DFM ANTENNA (24)

This jack is for connecting an FM antenna.

ERS232 (38)

The TX-SR602/602E, TX-SR8260, and American and Australian TX-SR702 do not have this port.

This port is for connecting the AV receiver to home automation equipment and external controllers.

F12V TRIGGER OUT ZONE 2 (79)

This output can be connected to the 12-volt trigger input on a power amplifier in Zone 2. When Zone 2 is turned on, a 12-volt trigger signal is output.

GIR IN (79)

If you want to use the remote controller to control the AV receiver from Zone 2, or if the AV receiver is installed in a cabinet and the line of sight between the AV receiver and the remote controller is obstructed, a commercially available IR receiver can be connected here.

HMONITOR OUT (27)

The S-Video or composite video jack should be connected to a video input on your TV or projector.

IOPTICAL DIGITAL (27, 28, 30, 32, 34, 35)

The number of digital outputs depends on where the the AV receiver is purchased.

The optical digital audio inputs can be used to con- nect CD and DVD players, and other components with an optical digital audio output.

JCOAXIAL DIGITAL (27, 28, 30, 32, 34, 35)

The coaxial digital audio inputs can be used to con- nect CD and DVD players, and other components with a coaxial digital audio output.

The coaxial output can be used connect a CD recorder or other digital recorder with a coaxial dig- ital input.

The TX-SR602/602E and TX-SR8260 do not have a coaxial output.

KZONE 2 SPEAKERS (76)

These terminal posts are for connecting speakers in Zone 2.

LFRONT, CENTER, SURROUND & SURROUND BACK SPEAKERS (23)
