Are you using a MultiMediaCard?

This unit does not support MultiMediaCard.

When you set the picture quality to [30fpsVGA], we recommend using a high speed SD Memory Card with “10 MB/s” or greater displayed on the package.

Depending on the type of SD Memory Card and how many times it has been recorded onto or deleted, recording may stop in the middle. If something like this happens, clean-up may be effective. We recommend you clean up the card using the camera in advance. (P89)

This does not affect the pictures you are recording.

6:A vertical red line appears on the LCD monitor.

This is called smear. It is specific to CCD, not a malfunction. It appears when the subject has a bright part. It is recorded on motion pictures, but not recorded on still pictures.

[FIREWORKS] (P61) or [STARRY SKY] (P62) in scene mode is selected.

2:The flash is activated 2 times.

When you select AUTO/Red-eye
