–Take pictures in bright places.

•In [HIGH SENS.] (P61) in scene mode, the resolution of the recorded picture decreases slightly because of high sensitivity processing.

8: The brightness or the hue of the recorded picture is different from the actual scene.

•If recording under fluorescent light, the brightness or the hue may change slightly when the shutter speed becomes fast. This occurs due to the characteristics of fluorescent light. It is not a malfunction.

9:A reddish vertical line appears on the LCD monitor when the shutter button is pressed halfway or when recording motion pictures.

•This is a phenomenon called smear. It is a characteristic of CCD and appears when the subject

has a bright part. Black or green vertical lines may also appear or uneven colors may appear around the smear. This is not a malfunction. It is recorded in motion pictures but is not recorded on still pictures.

10:When the shutter button is pressed halfway, the image becomes a still

image for that instant.
