The following messages or service numbers appear on the
television or unit’s display when something un usual is
detected during s tartup and use.
Cannot play.
¾
You inserted an incom patible disc (Di scs recorded in
PAL video, etc.).
Cannot display on th i s unit.
¾
You tried to play a non-compatible image.
¾
Confirm “SD” on the unit’s display is not displayed and
re-insert the card.
No disc is in serted.
¾
The disc may be up side down.
$ This operation is not available.
¾
Some operations are unsupported by the unit. For
example;
BD-Video: During playb ack, reverse slow-motion or
reverse frame-by-frame is not possible.
IP address is not set.
¾
The “IP Address” in “IP Address/DNS Settings” is “---.
---. ---. ---”. Set the “IP Address”, “Subnet Mask”, a nd
“Default Gateway”. (Select th e automatic address
acquisition if necessary.)
The current settings only offer minimal
wireless access point security and low
performance. It is recommended to change it
for better security.

Authentication type for the Wire less LAN is set to “Open
system”, or the encryption type is set to “N o encryption”.
It is recommended to encry pt for safety reasons. F or
details, refer to the ins tructions of the Wirele ss router
being used. Encryption is required when playing back
video, etc., from DLNA compatible devices.

The unit fails to operate properly. Press [POWER Í/I]
on the main unit for 3 seconds to switch the unit to
standby, then switch back on.

Some BD-Video discs can only be output with HDMI.

The unit is hot.

about 30 minutes until the message disappears.
Select a position with good vent ila ti on whe n in sta lli ng
the unit. Do not block th e ventilation hole on the side of
the unit.

The HDMI connection is n ot working properly.
Turn the unit and TV off.
Disconnect the HDMI cable between the player and
the TV.

service number does not disappear, do the following.
1Disconnect the plug from th e AC outlet, wait a few
seconds, then reconnect it.

If the service number does not disappear despite doing the
above, request se rvice from the deal er. Inform the dealer of
the service number when requesting service.
