Setup menu
Change the unit’s settings if n ecessary. The settings remain
intact even if you switch the unit to standby.
1Press [HOME].
2Press [OK] to select “Setup”.
3Press [4] to select “Player Settings”.
4Press [3,4] to select the menu and
press [OK].
5Press [3,4] to select the item and press
[OK].
If there are any other items, repe at these steps.
6Press [3,4,2,1] to select the option
and press [OK].
≥There may be differences in operation methods. If this happens, follow
the on-screen instructions for the operation.
DVD-Video Ratings
Set a ratings level to lim it DVD-Video play.
≥Follow the on-screen instructions. Enter a 4-digit
password with the number buttons when the pass word
screen is shown.
BD-Video Ratings
Set an age limit of BD-Video play.
≥Follow the on-screen instructions. Enter a 4-digit
password with the number buttons when the pass word
screen is shown.
3D BD-Video Playback
Select the playback method of 3D compatible video
software.
Audio Language
Choose the langua ge for audio.
≥If “Original” is sele cted, the origina l language of each disc
will be selected.
≥Enter a code (38) with the number buttons when you
select “Other ¢¢¢¢”.
Subtitle Langua ge
Choose the langua ge for the subtitl e.
≥If “Automatic” is sel ected and the lang uage selected for
“Audio Language” is not available, su btitles of that
language will automatically appear if available on that
disc.
≥Enter a code (38) with the number buttons when you
select “Other ¢¢¢¢”.
Menu Language
Choose the langua ge for the disc men us.
≥Enter a code (38) with the number buttons when you
select “Other ¢¢¢¢”.
BD-Live Internet Access (19)
You can restr ict Internet access when BD-Live functions are
used.
≥If “Allow (Limited)” is selected, Internet access is permitted
only for BD-Live contents which hav e content owner
certificates.
Subtitle Text
Select a suitable i tem according to the language used for
DivX [BDT210_for_Canada] or MKV subtitles tex t (18).
≥This item is displayed only after playing back a file.
