Viewing the disc playback information

You can view the disc information (such as current title/chapter/track number, current playing time on the disc) without interrupting the disc playback.

During playback, press DISPLAY repeatedly.

A list of available current disc information appears on the TV screen.

Selecting title/chapter/track on the disc information

1Press SEARCH MODE, then use w q keys to select an option.

2Use numeric keypad (0-9) to enter valid title/chapter/track number or hours, minutes and seconds from left to right in the time edit box, then press OK. Playback will change to the chosen time or to the selected title/ chapter/ track.

For DVD

{TT XX/XX CH XXX/XXX}: displays the total available title and chapters in the disc and enables you to select a chapter for viewing.

{z XX:XX:XX}: displays the elapsed play time in the disc and enables you to select the hour, minute and second for viewing.

For Super VCD or VCD

{TRK XX/XX}: displays the total available tracks in the disc and enables you to select a track for viewing.

{z XX:XX:XX}: displays the elapsed play time in the disc and enables you to select the hour, minute and second for viewing.

Repeat play modes

The repeat play options vary depending on the disc type.

Press REPEAT repeatedly to select the following repeat modes.

For DVD

REP CHAPTER (currently playing chapter)

REP TITLE (currently playing title)

REP ALL (entire disc)

REP OFF (cancel)

For VCD, Audio CD

REP 1 (currently playing track)

REP ALL (entire disc)

REP OFF (cancel)

Tip:

For VCD, repeat playback is not possible if the PBC mode is switched on.

Repeating a section within a chapter/track

You can repeat the playback of a specific segment within a title/chapter/track. To do this, you must mark the start and end of the segment you want.

1Press A-B REPEAT to choose your starting point ‘REPEAT A-’.

2Press A-B REPEAT again at your chosen end point ‘REPEAT A-B’.

The section from point ‘REPEAT A- to ‘REPEAT A-B will now repeat continuously.

3Press A-B REPEAT the third time to exit (A-B CANCEL).

Tips: The operating features described here might not be possible for certain discs. Always refer to the instructions supplied with the discs.
