{3} “THICK PAPER”: 90 g/m2 to 165g/m2 (24 lb to 44 lb) paper.
Note:
LThis setting is valid for both the standard input tray and the lower input tray.
L“THICK PAPER” will not be displayed if any of the paper input tray settings
are changed to “#2” or “#1+#2”:
– fax (feature #440 on page 62) (KX-MB3020 only).
– copy (feature #460 on page 63).

Setting the waiting time for
the power save mode

To set the length of time before the unit enters power save mode.
{1} “5min”: 5 minutes
{2} “15min” (default): 15 minutes
{3} “30min”: 30 minutes
{4} “1h”: 1 hour
Note:
LWhen in power save mode, the unit needs to preheat the fuser unit before
it can begin printing.
Holding the previous contrast
setting

{0} “DISABLED” (default): Deactivates this feature.
{1} “ENABLED”: The unit will hold the previous setting.
Note:
LThe previous setting will be held individually for copying.
LThe previous setting will be held indi vidually for sending faxes (KX-MB3020
only).
Setting the default operation
mode

To select the default operation mode when the selected time of the mode timer
(feature #464) passes.
{1} “COPY” (default): Copy mode is selected as default.
{2} “FAX”: Fax mode is selected as default.
Note:
LYou cannot select the scan mode using this feature.

Setting toner save feature

{0} “OFF” (default): Deactivates this feature.
{1} “ON”: The toner cartridge will last longer.
Note:
LThis feature may lower the print quality by reducing toner consumption.
LThis setting is valid for copying, and when the unit automatically prints
reports/lists.
LThis setting is invalid for printing re ceived faxes.
