Description

Through programming, you can change the Call Waiting Tone from Tone 1 fo Tone 2 shown below to prevent the user from missing the tone. Tone 1 is heard from the handset receiver of he standard telephone and the built&speaker of rile proprietary telephone.

Tone 2 is heard only from the built-in speaker of

the proprietary telephone when you have ariotlier

Programming

1.Dial (42).

“ENTER EXT NO” will be displayed.

‘2. Press the NEXT button.

3.Press the SELECT button to alternate be- tween “TONE 1” and “TONE 2” and select the desired tone.

5.Repeat steps 2 to 4 to program the assignment of the other es~emions.

6.To return to rhe initial programming mode, press the END button.

l When you start the programming from step 1, you may dial the desired extension number instead of NEXT button at step 2.

l The PREV button allow you lo go to the previ- ous extension for displaying the Call Waiting mode.

4.Press the MEMORY button.
