Priority call
Priority call is a function that allows you to ask
a registered person for assistance by sending
a text message (SMS) and making a call,
using MN (back of the phone).
The phone will beep and send an SMS
message, and then call the number you stored
in the call number list. Before using this
feature, you need to store the phone number
(5 numbers max.) to the call number list in the
desired order of priority.
Note:
R M N can be activated while the key lock is
on (page 14).
Priority call procedure
1Press and hold MN (back of the phone)
for about 3 seconds, or press it 3 times
within 3 seconds when in standby mode.
2The phone sends an SMS message.
RIf the buzzer function is on, the phone
beeps until the SMS message is sent
(page 30).
RIf the SMS message is not stored
(page 30), the phone skips this step.
3The phone dials the 1st phone number in
the call number list. Speakerphone is on.
RTo switch to the receiver, press MN.
4n If the call is answered, the priority call
procedure is stopped and you can start
the conversation.
RThe priority call procedure is stopped
even if the call accesses the voicemail
centre.
OR
n If the other party is busy, rejects the
call, or does not answer within 60
seconds, the phone automatically dials
the next number. The phone repeats the
sequence of sending SMS message and
dialling the numbers in the call number
list, a maximum of 2 times. If nobody
answers the priority call, the phone
disconnects the call.
Note:
RIf you want to stop the priority call
procedure, press M N during dialling.
