Step One: Assess wind co nditio ns and clear work area.

Before you decide t o spray, you must determine whether wind conditions are suit able. You must
also restrict access to the work area to ensure the safety of by st anders.
WARNING
Do not spray if wind speeds are greater than 4 MP H or if there are
bystanders in the intended spray area.
1. Assess wind spee d As sess weather conditions to en su re that it is not too windy to spray.
DO NO T SPR AY if win d spee ds are gre ater than 4 MP H.
Visible indication of wind speed:
If l e aves a r e in con stant mot ion or ther e is any br a nch mo veme nt , DO N OT
spray because the wind is too st rong.
2. Clear work area Clear the work area of all bystanders and pets.
Restrict access by the public for the period recommended on chem ical label.
