Setting-up dimensions which are not given in the above table can be calculated using the formulas below.

If the screen size is SD, then the following formula is first used to obtain the screen width (SW).

SW (m) = SD x 0.0254 Manual background 5 x 4

The value for SW obtained above can then be used with the following functions to calculate the projection distance.

LW (m) = 1.98 x SW

LT (m) = 2.57 x SW

For 16:9 aspect ratios, the following formula can be used to calculate the screen width (SW) and the projection distance for the wide lens position.

SW (m) = SD x 0.0254 Manual background 18.36 x 16
