Listening to Music (Audio Playback)

This unit is capable of playing MPEG-2 AAC and MP3 data files. The supplied program, SD-Jukebox Ver.4 (supplied accessory), must be used to load these files onto the SD Memory Card. Files that are simply copied to the SD Memory Card may not playback properly or at all. Please refer to page 42 for additional information.

1Set the Record/Play mode Switch to [ ] and set the operation mode to [AUDIO].

≥Music files recorded on the Memory Card are displayed in the index picture screen.

2Roll the Jog Ball to select a desired file.

≥Music files not having a still picture associated are displayed as shown 1.

3Press the Jog Ball.

≥A music file is played back.

≥Indication A displays for about 3 seconds from a playback start.

≥The audio can be fast-forwarded or fast-rewound by pressing [9/:] on the remote controller during playback. (No audio is output during fast-forwarding/ fast-backwarding.) (l 30)

≥The playback speed becomes normal when you reach the next file.
