Session Manager

Figure 122. Session Manager
The Session Manager records activities as they occur in the VMX300(-E) system. Depending on how your system administrator has set up the
system, this can include both activities initiated by you and activities initiated by another operator or by the system.
Session Manager has two views:
Session View
Archive View
Session View allows you to manage activities that occurred during your current session, including alarms that might require your acknowledge-
ment. Archive View allows you to retrieve and view archived events.
Status on log in: When you log in, VMX300(-E) provides you with an accurate reflection of the current state of the system. Schedules in the
process of executing and alarms waiting for acknowledgement will appear as active entries in the Session Manager, even if they were initiated
before you logged in.
Access privileges: If the Session Manger does not appear in the View menu, you do not have permission to control its display. If the Session
Manager is open, you cannot close it. If it is closed, you cannot open it.
Open and close session manager: To open the Session Manager window, click View > Session Manager. To close the Session Manager, click
the Close button in the right corner of the window’s title bar, or clear View > Session Manager.
Alternatively, if you have permission to edit workspaces, you can open and close the Session Manager window using the Edit Workspace option
of the File menu. For information on adjusting the size and position of the Session Manager window, refer to Workspaces and the Appendix.
