16 Exit Server Conﬁguration and Launch the Server in Run Mode

1. Click File > Exit and Run.

2. The save changes prompt appears. Click Yes to save changes.

3. When the veriﬁcation procedure is complete, the server enters Run mode. The VMX300(-E) icon appears in the Windows system tray when

the server is in Run mode.

How to Return to the Server Conﬁguration

To return to server conﬁguration mode while the VMX300(-E) server is running, complete the following steps:

1. Double-click the VMX300 icon in the Windows system tray, and then select Conﬁgure from the pop-up menu (you can also access the

pop-up menu by right-clicking the icon). The VMX300 Server Login dialog box appears.

2. Type your user name and password, and then click OK. After several seconds, the VMX300(-E) Conﬁguration window appears.

3. After making changes to the server conﬁguration, click File > Close or click the Close button at the right of the conﬁguration window title

bar. The conﬁrmation dialog box prompts you to save your changes.

4. Click Yes. After the system veriﬁes the conﬁguration changes the VMX300(-E) Conﬁguration window closes, momentarily interrupting

operators logged in to the client. The server then resumes operation.
