Burst Shooting

You can take pictures continuously at approximately 21 frames per second. In this mode, images are saved with JPEG Quality set to Y(1536×1024) regardless of the save format setting (p.156). The JPEG Quality set in the [A Rec. Mode] menu is used.

1 Press the {button.

The Fn menu appears.

2 Press the four-way controller (2) and use the four-way controller (45) to select j.

3 Press the 4button.

The camera is ready to take pictures continuously.

4 Press the shutter release button halfway.

The autofocus system operates. The focus indicator ] appears in the viewfinder when focused.

5 Press the shutter release button fully.

Pictures are taken continuously while the shutter release button is fully pressed until the camera buffer memory is full (JPEG Quality C: maximum of approximately 115 pictures). The focus is locked during shooting.

• The mirror raises during shooting and Instant Review is displayed continuously on the monitor.

The flash is turned off and the button operation is unavailable in this mode.

Multi-exposure and Auto Bracket are disabled in this mode.

Select a setting other than jin the Drive Mode options screen to cancel burst shooting. The setting is canceled when the camera is turned off if [Drive Mode] in [Memory] of [A Rec. Mode] menu (p.236) is set to P (Off).
