You can protect images from being accidentally deleted.

Even protected images are deleted if the SD Memory Card is formatted.

Press the Q button and use the four-way controller (45) to select an image.

Press the Z button.

The Protect screen appears.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Protect].

Press the 4button.

The selected image is protected.

•Select [Unprotect] in Step 3 to cancel the Protect setting.

•The Yicon is displayed when playing back protected images. (p.25, p.26)
