5 Turn the camera on.

• It is recommended to use the optional AC adapter kit K-AC64 if you intend to use the camera for a long time (p.33).

•Depending on the country or region, images and sound files may fail to be played back if the video output format is set different from the one in use there. If this happens, change the video output format setting (p.208).

•The camera display turns off while the camera is connected to AV equipment.

•The volume cannot be adjusted with the zoom lever while the camera is connected to AV equipment.
