Start a TV demo
You can use demonst rations to better
unders tand the features of your T V. So me
demos are not av ailable on certain m odels.
When a demo is ava ilable, it is displayed in th e
menu list.
1 Press DEMO o n the remote control.
2 Press to select a demo and press OK
to view it.
3 Press DEMO t o exit.
Reset the TV to factory
settings
You can restore the default picture and sound
settings of your TV. Channel installation settings
remain the same.
1 Press MENU .
2 Select [Installation] > [Factory settings] .
3 Press to enter the [Factor y settings]
menu.
[Reset] is highlighted.
4 Press OK to r eset to factory set tings.
5 Press MENU to e xit.

Check the current software version
1 Press MENU .
2 Select [Softw are update] > [Cu rrent
software] .
Download the software
1 On your PC, ope n a web browser and go
to www.philips.com/support.
2 Find informat ion and software re lated
to your TV and dow nload the latest
software upgrade  le to your PC.
3 Decompress t he ZIP- le.
4 Copy the autorun.upg le to th e root
director y of the USB device.
Update software (analog broadcasts)
Before per forming this procedu re be sure to:
Set aside so me time to complete the
entire update.
Have available a U SB storage device wit h
at least 64 MB of storage space.
Have access to a compu ter with a USB
port and i nternet access.
1 Press MENU .
2 Select [Softw are update] > [Update
assistant] .
3 Select [Start] .
4 Connect the U SB storage device to your
computer.
5 Follow the on-scr een instructi ons to
complete the u pdate.
Change TV preferences
The [Preferences] menu a llows you to
customize var ious features and funct ions.
1 Press MENU .
2 Select [Installation] > [Preferences] .
3 Press to ente r [Preferences] .
[Location] O ptimizes TV setting s for
your location - home or shop.
