•• Check the ESP setting and increase the time if you want the TV to stay on for longer duration (see ‘Configure the control options’ on page 16).

The TV cannot be turned off:

•• Check if the power mode has been set to FORCED ON. If it is, change selection to any other setting.

No access to Philips Hospitality setup menu

The Philips Hospitality setup mode cannot be accessed using the guest remote control:

•• Check that the high-security mode has been turned off. Use the Philips Hospitality setup remote control to access the Philips Hospitality setup menu and select CONFIGURATION > SECURITY > SECURITY > STANDARD to allow the use of guest remote control (see ‘Select the security level’ on page 16).

The Philips Hospitality setup mode cannot be accessed using the Philips Hospitality setup remote control:

•• Check that the switch at the side of the Philips Hospitality setup remote control is set to the SETUP position (see ‘Access the Philips Hospitality setup menu with Philips setup remote control’ on page 9).

Picture issues

The TV is on, but there is no picture:

•• Check that the antenna or the cable is connected properly to the TV.

•• Check that source device and communication protocols are selected correctly.

•• Check that the channel(s) are installed and in the current ring.

•• If the video is muted, select CHANNEL INSTALL > MUTE > NONE or CHANNEL INSTALL > MUTE > AUDIO to unmute the

video (see ‘Mute a channel’ on page 12).

The TV is on, but picture quality is not good:

•• Check the antenna, cable or set-top box connections to the TV and ensure that they are properly connected.

•• Check that the picture settings are correct for your TV and the source device
