Manually adjust picture settings

1 When watching TV, press (Home).
The home menu appears. »
2 Press the Navigation but tons to select
[Setup], then press OK.
3 Select [Advanced TV set tings], then
press OK.
4 Select [Picture], then press OK .
5 Press to select a setting.
6 Press OK to access and adjust the s etting.
The following picture se ttings can be
congured. Depending o n the format of the
picture source, some p icture settings a re not
available.
• [Smart picture]: Accesses pr e-dened
smart picture s ettings.
• [Reset]: Resets to factory default s ettings.
• [Contrast] : Adjusts the intensi ty of bright
areas, keeping dar k areas unchanged.
• [Brightness]: Adjusts the intensit y and
details of dark area s.
• [Colour]: Adjusts color saturatio n.
• [Hue]: Compensate s color variations in
NTSC encoded transmis sions.
• [Sharpness]: Adjusts sharpne ss in the
image.
• [Noise reduction]: Filter s and reduces
noise in an image.
• [Tint]: Adjus ts the color balance in an
image.
Note
Before you adjust •[Custom tint], select [ Tint]
> [Custom], the n press OK to enable the
option.
• [Custom tint]: Customizes tint s etting.
• [Pixel Plus HD]: Accesses advance d
settings:
• [HD Natural Motion]: Reduces  eld
and line icker to display movem ent
smoothly.

Use pre-dened picture settings

Use the[Smart picture] ex perience bar to
access frequently used pi cture settings .

All picture sett ings are available v ia the •
[Picture]menu (see ‘Manually adjus t picture
settings’ on page 12).

The experience bar appears. »
2 Press the Navigation but tons to select
[Smart picture], then pr ess OK.
3 Select a smart se tting:
• [Personal]: Applies the settings you
have selected in the [Person alise
picture and sound] menu.
• [Vivid]: Applies rich and d ynamic
settings, ideal for day light use.
• [Natural]: Applies a natural set ting.
• [Cinema]: Ap plies settings for
watching movies.
• [Game]: Applies set tings for gaming.
• [Energy saving]: Appl ies the most
energy conscious set tings. Factory
standard setti ngs.
• [Standard]: Adjusts pi cture settings
to suit most environme nts and types
of video.
• [Photo]: Applies settings for view ing
photos.
• [Custom]: Ap plies the stored
adjustments you have made t o a
smart picture s etting.
4 Press OK to conrm your choice.
The smart setting is applied. »
5 Press (Back) to exit.
