Change picture format
1 Press (Expe rience).
The experience bar appears. »
2 Press the Navigation but tons to select
[Picture format], then pres s OK.
3 Press the Navigation but tons to select a
picture format.
The selected picture format is »
previewed.
4 Press OK to conrm your choice.
The selected picture format is applied. »
Tip
Picture formats a re also accessible vi a the •
[Setup]menu.

Note
Depending on the pic ture source, some •
picture formats a re not available and w ill not
be seen on-screen.
Before you adjust
•[Unscaled], select [Picture]
> [PC mode] > [On], then pre ss OK to
enable the option.
• [100 Hz Clear LCD]: Sets the
TV refresh rate to a ma ximum of
100Hz to provide super ior motion
sharpness, bett er black level, high
contrast with a icke r free, quiet
image and a larger viewing a ngle.
• [Super resolution]/[Advanced
sharpness]: Enables superior
sharpness, especia lly lines and
contours in the pictur e.
• [Dynamic contrast]: Enha nces
contrast.
• [Dynamic backlight]: Adjus ts
brightness of the TV ba cklight to
match lighting conditions .
• [MPEG artefact reduc tion]: Smooths
out transitions on di gital pictures.

• [Colour enhancement]: Makes
colors more vivid and im proves
the details in bright col ors. You can
switch this feature on or of f.
• [Gamma]: Adju sts the midtones
intensity in the pict ure. Black and
white are not affected .
• [PC mode]: Enables pictur e settings
adjustment when a PC is con nected to
the TV via HDMI. If en abled, you can
select [Picture format] > [Unscaled]
which provides maximu m detail for
display of PC content.
• [Light sensor]: Adjusts set tings
dynamically to match ligh ting conditions.
• [Picture format]: Changes the pi cture
format.
• [Screen edges]: Changes the pi cture size.
• [Picture shift]: Adjust s the position of the
picture.
