Use Philips EasyLink
Philips EasyLink prov ides several features
that enable you to control dev ices that are
connected via HDMI. C onnected devices must
support the HDMI -CEC standar d, and must
be properly congure d for EasyLink to work .
Note
Philips does not guara ntee 100%
interoperabili ty with all HDMI C EC devices.
HDMI-CEC func tionality is kn own by other
names on other brand s. Some examples a re
Anynet (Samsung), Aquo s Link (Sharp) or
BRAVIA Sync (Sony). Not all b rands are fully
compatible with Phil ips EasyLink.

EasyLink features

One-touch play
When you play content from a HD MI-CEC
compliant device, the T V switches on from
standby, and switches to t he correct source.
One-touch standby
When you connect your TV t o a HDMI-
CEC compliant device, pre ssing on the
TV remote control swi tches the TV and all
connected HDMI device s to standby mode.
System audio control
When you connect your TV t o, for example,
a HDMI-CEC complia nt home theater syste m
(HTS), your TV speaker s automatically mut e
and audio from the TV play s through the HTS.

EasyLink Remote Control
EasyLink Remote Control allows you to control
HDMI-CEC complia nt devices using your TV
remote control (see ‘Enable or disable remote
control key forwardin g’ on page 38).
Pixel Plus Link
Connected Philips EasyLink devices may apply
their own picture quality processing to a video,
before streaming it to t he TV. This may interfer e
with the image processin g of the TV. Enable Pixel
Plus Link to discard pic ture quality proce ssing
from connected Philips E asyLink devices (see
‘Enable or disable Pixel P lus link’ on page 39).

Setup media server software

1 When th e TV is connected to a
computer network wi th Internet access,
press (Home).
The home menu appears. »

[Setup], then press OK.
3 Selec t ,then press OK.
Follow the on-screen instructions. »
Use HDMI ARC
The HDMI 1 connector is HDMI Audio Return
Channel (ARC) compliant. Use it to output
digital audio to a HDMI home theater.

Enable or disable HDMI ARC

Note
Do not enable HDMI ARC un less you intend
to use it.
1 Press .

[Setup], then press OK.
3 Selec t [Advanced TV settings], t hen
press OK.
4 Selec t [EasyLink] > [HDMI 1 - ARC],
then press OK.
5 Selec t [On] or [Off ], then press OK.
