PIN protection

Allows you to activate/deactivate the PIN protection when switching on your phone. When the PIN code is activated, you will be asked to enter your PIN code when switching your phone on.

L If your PIN code is deactivated, you cannot change it.

PIN2 code

PIN protection

Depending on your SIM card, some features or options may require a PIN2 secret code. This is a second secret 4 to 8-digit code given to you by your operator. If you enter a wrong PIN2 code 3 times, your SIM card is blocked. To unblock it, request the PUK2 code from your operator or retailer.

L If you enter an incorrect PUK code 10 times in a row, the SIM card will be blocked and unusable. If this happens, contact your operator or retailer.

Time and date

This menu allows you to set the time and date, Time zone, Daylight savings and change the clock display mode.

Clock display

Allows you to select Analogue or Digital time formats when shown in idle

Clock display mode, by pressing 4or 6. You can also select No Clock (which will also deactivate the Date display). In any case, press ,to confirm.

Set date

Allows you to set the date by pressing the appropriate numeric keys (you can Set date also set the date by pressing 4or 6).

Time zone

Time zone

L The time zone and daylight savings are to be set first. You should then double- check date and time if previously set. To know which time zone you are in, we recommend you to check in an atlas or an encyclopedia.

The Time zone option allows you to set the time zone you belong to, according to GMT (Greenwich Meridian Time). Press 2or 8to select the setting corresponding to your area, e.g. GMT + 00:00 when located in United Kindom, GMT + 01:00 when in The Netherland, France or Germany.
