[4:3 Letterbox] – For 4:3 screen TV: wide-
screen display with bl ack bars on the top and
bottom of the screen.
[4:3 Pansca n] – For 4:3 screen TV: fu ll-height
display with the trimmed sides.
[16:9 Widescreen] – For wide-scr een TV:
display picture at r atio 16:9.
[16:9] – For 16:9 screen T V: display picture at
ratio 4:3 for a disc with 4 :3 ratio, with blac k
bars on the left and r ight side of the scree n.
[21:9 Cinema] – For wide-scre en TV of display
ratio 21:9.
Note
If [4:3 Panscan] you have selected is not supported
by the disc, the screen d isplays in the [4:3 Letterbox]
format.

[HDMI Video]
Select an HDMI vid eo output resolu tion that is
compatible with your TV display capability.
[Auto] - Detect and sel ect the best supp orted
video resolution automatically.
[Native] - Set to original video re solution.
[480i/576i] , [480p/576p], [720p], [108 0i],
[1080p], [1080 p/24Hz] - Select a vide o
resolution sett ing that best is suppo rted by the
TV. See the TV manual for d etails.
Note
If a selected video r esolution is no t supported w ith
your TV and a blank scre en appears , to recover pict ure
display, wait for 10 second s, or on the remo te control
press and then press “731” (num eric butto ns).
For a composite (CVBS) c onnection , if no video out put is
made when a video reso lution unde r [HDMI Video] is set
to an HD resolution (1080p/24Hz, 1080p, 1080i, 720p),
connect this player to t he TV with an H DMI connect ion to
play HD videos (for an HDMI connection, see “Connect”
> “Option 1: Connect to t he HDMI jack ”).
Note
For disc recorded in mu ltiple sessi ons, only the fir st
session is played.
For a WMA file that is prote cted by Digit al Rights
Management (DRM ), it cannot be play ed on this player.
This player does not sup port MP3PRO a udio format .
For any special chara cter that is pre sent in the MP3 t rack
name (ID3) or album name, i t might not be dis played
correctly on the sc reen because t hese charac ters are not
supported.
Folders/files that exceed the supported limit of this
player cannot be displ ayed or played.
