Main unit

No reaction to the remote con trol.
Connect this player to t he power outlet.•
Point the remote control a t the IR sensor •
located on the front pan el of this player.
Insert the batt eries correct ly.•
Insert new batte ries in the remote co ntrol.•

Picture

No picture.
See TV manual for corr ect video input •
selection. Change t he TV channel unt il you see
the Philips screen.
No picture on HDMI connection.
If this player is connected to an unauthorized •
display device with an HDMI cable, the audio/
video signal may not be out put.
Check if the HDMI cable is faulty. Replace a •
new HDMI cable.
On the remote control, p ress • and then
press “731” (numeric but tons) to recover
picture display.

Clean discs
Wipe the disc with a micro fibre cleaning cloth from
the centre to the edge in a straight line movement.
