PROTECTING A DISC

PROTECTING A DISC

To prevent accidental recording, editing or erasing the titles, you can protect them from “Disc Edit” menu.

1Press [SETUP].

2Use [K / L] to select “Disc Edit”, then press [OK].

3 Use [K / L] to select “Disc Protect

OFF 1Press [SETUP]. ON”, then press [OK]. e.g.) DVD+RW

3 Use [K / L] to select “Disc Protect Disc Edit Disc Edit

Edit Disc Name

Erase Disc

Make Edits Compatible

4Use [K / L] to select “Yes”, then press [OK].

Disc is now protected.

To cancel the disc protection:

When you insert a disc protected with this unit,

“Disc Protect ON Protect this disc? OFF” will appear instead of “OFF To cancel the disc protection: ON” at step 3.
