Play photo

Play photo as slideshow

You can play JPEG photos (files with . jpeg or .jpg
extensions).
1 Insert a disc or USB fl ash drive that cont ains
the JPEG photos.
For USB, press .
Slideshow begins (for Kodak disc), or a »
contents menu (for JPEG disc) is displayed.
2 Select a photo, and the n press OK to star t
slideshow.
For a photo recorded with the “exif” »
format, the display orientation is
automatically optimized.
To display photos in color (fun mode) or in
black and white (simple mod e), press
DISC MENU.
To preview the photos in thumbn ail, press
INFO.
To select a photo, press the Navigation
buttons.
To enlarge the selected ph oto and start
slideshow, press OK.
To return to the menu, pres s BACK.
Note
It may require longe r time to display th e disc content
on the TV due to the lar ge number of song s/photos
compiled onto one disc /USB flash dr ive.
If the JPEG photo is not re corded with an ‘ exif’ ty pe
file, the actual thu mbnail pictu re cannot be sho wn on
the screen. It is rep laced by a ‘blue mou ntain’ thumb nail
picture.
This product can on ly display digi tal camera pi ctures
according to the JPEG -EXIF for mat, typic ally used by
almost all digital c ameras. I t cannot displa y Motion JPEG ,
or pictures in form ats other than J PEG, or sound c lips
associated with pictures.
Folders/files that exceed the supported limit of this
product cannot be di splayed or played .

Control photo play

1 Play a photo slideshow.
2 Use the remote control to co ntrol the play.
Display Action
[Disc Go To] Skip play to a specific tim e
within the disc.
[Track Go To] Skip play to a specific tim e
within a track.
[Select Track] Skip play to a specific tra ck
number.
2 Press the numeric buttons to change the tim e/
number to skip to.

Play MP3/WMA music

MP3/WMA is a type of hig hly compressed audi o file
(files with .mp3, .wma ex tensions).
1 Insert a disc or USB t hat contains the MP3/
WMA music.
For USB, press .
A contents menu is displayed. »
2 If play does not automatic ally start , select a
track to play.
To select another track /folder, press
, then press OK.
Note
For disc recorded in mu ltiple sessi ons, only the fir st
session is played.
For a WMA file that is prote cted by Digit al Rights
Management (DRM ), it cannot be play ed on this produ ct.
This product does no t support MP 3PRO audio for mat.
For any special chara cter that is pre sent in the MP3 t rack
name (ID3) or album name, i t might not be dis played
correctly on the sc reen because t hese charac ters are not
supported.
Folders/files that exceed the supported limit of this
product cannot be di splayed or played .

Repeat play for a specific section

1 To set the start point du ring play, press
REPEAT/REPEAT A-B repeatedly until is
displayed.
2 To set the end point, press REPEAT/REPEAT
A-B again.
» is displayed and the marked section
starts to play repeatedly.
To cancel repeat play, press REPEAT/
REPEAT A-B again.
Note
Only a section with in a track/ title can be mar ked for
repeat play.
