De waterkoker en de voet schoonmaken

1Maak de buitenkant van de waterkoker en de voet schoon met een zachte doek die is bevochtigd met warm water en een zacht

schoonmaakmiddel.

Voorkom dat de vochtige doek in contact komt met het snoer, de stekker en de aansluiting van de voet.

Het filter schoonmaken

Kalk is niet schadelijk voor uw gezondheid maar kan uw drank een poederig smaakje geven. Het antikalkfilter voorkomt dat er kalkdeeltjes in uw drank terecht komen.

Maak het Triple Action-antikalkfilter regelmatig schoon op de volgende manier:

1Neem het filter in zijn geheel uit de waterkoker (fig. 14).

2Schuif de houder van het filter en neem het roestvrijstalen gaas uit de houder.

3Als u het gaas wilt schoonmaken, knijpt u in het gaas en draait u het rond onder een lopende kraan.

4Maak het filter voorzichtig schoon met een zachte nylon borstel.

5Plaats het gaas terug in de houder en schuif de houder weer op het filter. Schuif het filter vervolgens terug in de waterkoker.

Opmerking: U kunt het filter ook op twee andere manieren schoonmaken. Laat het filter in de waterkoker zitten als u de waterkoker ontkalkt (zie ‘De waterkoker ontkalken’) of verwijder het filter uit de waterkoker en maak het filter in de vaatwasmachine schoon.

De waterkoker ontkalken

Regelmatig ontkalken verlengt de levensduur van de waterkoker. Bij normaal gebruik (tot 5 keer per dag), wordt u aangeraden de volgende ontkalkingsfrequentie aan te houden:

-Eén keer per 3 maanden als u zacht water gebruikt (tot 18 dH).

-Eén keer per maand als u hard water gebruikt (meer dan 18 dH).
