Sæt låget på elkanden og drej det højre om, indtil markeringslinjen ovenpå elkanden er lige ud for linjen på låget, som indikerer, at elkanden er lukket.

Kogning af vand

For at koge vand behøver du kun gøre én ting:

1Tryk på on/off-knappen. (fig. 6)

,Lysringen omkring on/off-knappen lyser, og 100°C-indikatoren blinker for at vise, at elkanden opvarmer vandet til kogepunktet (fig. 7).

,Under opvarmningen ses den aktuelle temperatur ved antallet af tændte temperaturindikatorer. 100°C-indikatoren bliver ved med at blinke (fig. 8).

2Elkanden bringer vandet i kog.

,Når vandet koger, høres et lydsignal, og elkanden slukker automatisk.

,Lysringen omkring on/off-knappen slukkes, og 100°C-indikatoren forbliver tændt i 120 sekunder, så du ved, at vandet lige har kogt (fig. 9).

Bemærk: Opvarmningsprocessen kan altid afbrydes manuelt ved at trykke på on/off-knappen eller fjerne elkanden fra basisenheden. Fjernes elkanden fra basisenheden, mens den er tændt, forsvinder alle indstillinger.

Indstilling af vandtemperatur

Med SET TEMP-knappen på elkanden kan du opvarme vandet til forskellige temperaturer: 100°C (kogende vand), 80°C, 60°C eller 40°C.

1Kontrollér først at elkanden er tom og fyld den derefter med koldt

vand.

Hvis du vil sikre dig, at elkanden opvarmer vandet præcist til den indstillede temperatur, skal du fylde den med mindst 0,5 l vand.

2Den ønskede temperatur indstilles ved at trykke på SET TEMP- knappen en eller flere gange (fig. 10).
