Calibrate the touch screen
Calibrate the touch screen. Your taps can be
precisely positioned on the display screen of
SA080.
The first time you use • SA080,
complete touch screen ca libration as
prompted.
Alternatively, go to • > [Display
settings] > [Touch panel
calibration].
If the pop-up window is not dis played
automatically:
1 Select My Computer (Windows XP /
Windows 2000) / Computer (Windows
Vista / Windows 7).
2 Right click on the Philips GoGear SA080
icon.
3 Select Install Philips Device Manager.
4 Follow the on-screen ins tructions to
complete the install ation of the softwar e.
Note
The installation r equires you to agre e to the •
license terms.
Switch the player on or off
Press and hold until the player is switched on
or off.

Automatic standby and shut-down

The player has an automati c standby and shut-
down feature that can save bat tery power.
If in idle mode (no play, no button is pr essed)
for a certain time dur ation, the player swi tches
off automatically.
To define the time duration,
From the Home screen, go to • >
[Set power-saving mode…].
