Adding a cassette to the Tape Manager
Onlynew (blank) cassettes can be added to the Tape
Manager.A cassette that has been recorded on can not be
addedto the Tape Manager.
DWiththis video recorder however, new recordings
canbe made as often as you wish on a cassette
addedto the tape manager. The titles of these
recordingsare stored automatically in the tape
manager.
aSwitchthe television on. Select the channel number for
thevideo recorder if necessary.
bInserta new, blank cassette in the video recorder.
Thevideo recorder will briefly check the cassette
inserted.’CHECKING CASSETTE’ will appear on the
screen.
Ifthe cassette is new (blank), will appear on the screen:

DIfthe cassette has already been registeredin the
TapeManager, the cassette number and all the

DIfyou put a cassette into the machine that has been

Manager,no information will appear on the screen.

DYoucan store up to 150 cassettes. You can store a
maximumnumber of 210 titles in the Tape Manager.
Searching for a title
Youcan easily search for the title of a recording stored in the
TapeManager. When the video recorder finds the title,
playbackwill start automatically at the beginning of the
recordingsearched for.
aPressthe TAPEMANAGER button on the remote control.
bSelectthe line ’FIND A TITLE’.
cConfirmwith the Pbutton.
DIfyou have inserted a cassette that is not stored in
theTape Manager you can choose between the
’THIS CASSETTE’or’TM-MEMORY’lines by
pressingthe P=button.
DIfyou confirm ’THIS CASSETTE’ with the P
button,the video recorder will check the cassette
inserted.This can take some time. A list of all
recordingson this cassette will appear on the
screen.Continue at step e.
DIfyou confirm ’TM-MEMORY’ with the Pbutton,
continueat the next step.
dUsingthe Por Qbutton,you can easily see the
contentsof the various cassettes in line ’CASSETTE
NUMBER’.
