Switching the receptionmode
Ifa digital broadcast reception condition gets
poor,this unit automatically switches to the
analogbroadcast of the same frequency level.
Ifthis function is set to on, the tuner switches
betweendigital broadcast and analog broad-
castautomatically. If this function is off, recep-
tionwill be conducted within an analog
broadcast.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
BLENDINGin the function menu.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select your fa-
voritesetting.

Note
IfSEEK MODE is set to HD and BLENDING is set
toOFF, the tuner can not receive broadcasts. In
thiscase, the seek mode or reception mode is
changedautomatically as follows:
!WhenSEEK MODE is set to HD, if you switch
BLENDINGfrom ON to OFF,SEEK MODE is
changedto ALL.
!WhenBLENDING is set to OFF, if you switch
SEEKMODE from ALL to HD,BLENDING is
changedto ON.

player,which is sold separately.
!Onlyfunctions described in this manual are
supportedby 50-disc multi-CD players.

PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down.
%Fastforward or reverse
Pushand hold MULTI-CONTROL left or right.
%Selecta track
PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right.

!Whenmulti-CD player completes preparatory
operations,READY is displayed.
!Ifan error message such as ERROR-11 is dis-
played,refer to the multi-CD player owner ’s
manual.
!Ifthere are no discs in the multi-CD player ma-
gazine,NO DISC is displayed.
Introductionto advanced
operations
Youcan only use COMP/DBE (compression
andDBE) with a multi-CD player that supports
them.
1 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
mainmenu.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
FUNCTION.
Turnto change the menu option. Press to se-
lect.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select the
function.
REPEAT(repeat play)—RANDOM (random
play)—SCAN(scan play)—PAUSE (pause)—
COMP/DBE(compression and DBE)—
ITSPLAY (ITS play)—ITS MEMORY (ITS pro-
gramming)
#Ifyou do not operate functions other than
ITSMEMORY within about 30 seconds, the dis-
playautomatically returns to the ordinary display.
Functionand operation
REPEAT,RANDOM,SCANand PAUSE opera-
tionsare basically the same as that of the
built-inCD player.
