Loudnesscompensates for deficiencies in the
low-and high-sound ranges at low volume.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
LOUDNESSin the audio function menu.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
settingmode.
3 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select the de-
siredsetting.
Turnto change the setting.
LOW(low)—MID (mid)—HIGH (high)—OFF
(off)

Using subwoofer outputThisunit is equipped with a subwoofer output
whichcan be turned on or off.
Also,phase can be selected between normal
andreverse.
1 PressSW to display the subwoofer set-
tingmode.
PressSW repeatedly to switch between the
subwoofersetting modes in the following
order.
SWSETTING 1 (subwoofer on/off setting) set-
tingmode—SW SETTING 2 (subwoofer set-
ting)setting mode
2 SelectSW SETTING 1 setting mode.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select the de-
siredsetting.
NORMAL(normal phase)—REV (reverse
phase)—OFF(subwoofer off)

Adjusting subwoofer settings
Whenthe subwoofer output is on, you can ad-
justthe cut-off frequency and the output level
ofthe subwoofer.
!Whenthe subwoofer output is on, you can
selectSW SETTING 2.
1 PressSW to display the subwoofer set-
tingmode.
PressSW repeatedly to switch between the
subwoofersetting modes in the following
order.
SWSETTING 1 (subwoofer on/off setting) set-
tingmode—SW SETTING 2 (subwoofer set-
ting)setting mode
2 SelectSW SETTING 2 setting mode.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select the seg-
mentyou wish to set.
PressMULTI-CONTROL repeatedly to switch
thesegment in the following order:
Cutoff frequency—Level
4 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to adjust the se-
lectedsegement.
Cutoff frequency
50HZ—63HZ—80HZ—100HZ—125HZ
Level
+6to –24 is displayed as the level is increased
ordecreased.
