Removing the front panelBefore You Start

!A few seconds after turning the ignition switch to on or off, the front panel automati- cally moves. When this happens, your fingers may become jammed in the panel, so keep your hands away from it.

!When removing the front panel, be sure to hold the corrugated release button on the rear of the front panel while pulling.

2Replace the front panel by clipping it into place.

Removing the front panel

1 Press EJECT to open the front panel. If a disc has been inserted to this unit, press- ing and holding EJECT enable to open the front panel without ejecting a disc.

2Press the release button, slide and re- move the front panel toward you.

Take care not to grip it too tightly or to drop the front panel and protect it from contact with water or other fluids to prevent perma- nent damage.

Resetting the microprocessor

The microprocessor must be reset under the following conditions:

!Prior to using this unit for the first time after installation

!If the unit fails to operate properly

!When strange or incorrect messages ap- pear on the display

%Press RESET with a pen tip or other pointed instrument.

3Put the front panel into provided pro- tective case for safe keeping.

1 Make sure the inner cover is closed.

Switching the DSP setting mode

This unit features two operation modes: the 3- way network mode (NW) and the standard mode (STD). You can switch between modes as desired. Initially, the DSP setting is set to the standard mode (STD).
