Press for Standard decoding and to

switch between the various Pro Logic II

and Neo:6 options (page 38).

ADVANCED SURROUND

Use to switch between the various

surround modes (page 39).

STEREO/DIRECT

Switches between direct and stereo play-

back. Direct playback bypasses the tone

controls and channel levels for the most

accurate reproduction of a source

(page 39).

This switches between standby and on for this receiver.

Sounds the test tone when setting up the

surround sound of the receiver (page 52).

MUTE

Mutes the sound (or restores the sound if

it has been muted).

EFFECT +/–

Adds or subtracts the amount of effect

with different advanced surround modes

(page 39).
