5.4.3 Video

•Noise filter

This option defines how the IKVM-1000 reacts to small changes in the video input signal. A large filter setting needs less network traffic and leads to a faster video display, but small changes in some display regions may not be recognized immediately. A small filter displays all changes instantly but may lead to a constant amount of network traffic even if the display content is not really changing (depending on the quality of the video input signal). All in all the default setting should be suitable for most situations.

•Force Composite Sync (Required for Sun Computers)

To support signal transmission from a Sun machine, enable this option. If not enabled the picture of the remote console will not be visible.

To set the options, click on the button “Apply”.

5.5 Device Settings

5.5.1 Network

The Network Settings panel allows changing network related parameters. Each parameter will be explained below. Once applied the new network settings will immediately come into effect.
