REPLACING THE

BATTERY PACK

If you follow the instructions in “Connect- ing and Charging the Battery Pack” on Page 11, the battery pack should last about one year. If the battery pack will not hold a charge for more than 2 hours after an overnight charge, replace it with a new 3.6V, 600 mAh battery pack that has a connector which fits the socket in the battery compartment. You can order a replacement battery pack through your local RadioShack store.

Install the new battery pack as de- scribed here, then charge the battery pack for 24 hours.

Note: To avoid losing phone numbers stored in memory, try to install and begin charging the new battery pack within about 2 minutes.

1.Press down and slide off the hand- set’s battery compartment cover.

2.Gently pull out the battery connector to disconnect it, then remove the battery pack.

3.Insert a fresh battery pack and plug its connector with the flat side up into the socket inside the battery compartment. The connector fits only one way.

4.Replace the cover.
