LIGHTNING

Your TAD-1015 has built-in lightning protection to reduce the risk of dam- age from surges in phone and power line current. This protection meets or exceeds FCC requirements. However, lightning striking the phone line or power lines can damage your phone.

Lightning damage is not common. Nevertheless, if you live in an area that has severe electrical storms, we suggest that you unplug your phone during storms to reduce the possibility of damage.
