Verify the DV driver installation

When you connect a DVCAM on Windows 98 SE or Windows Me, the DV driver will be installed automatically. To verify the DV driver installation, follow the steps.

1.Click My Computer with the right button of the mouse. 2.Select Properties.

3.Click the Device Manager tab.

4.If there is a “Microsoft DV Camera and VCR” string without any yellow “!” marks

or red “X” marks under the [Imaging Device] as shown below, the DV driver is installed correctly on Windows 98SE.

If there is a camera name string without any yellow “!” marks or red “X” marks under the [Imaging Device] as shown below, the DV driver is installed correctly on Windows Me.
