8-6.Formatting media on Windows 2000

When you want to format a 1394 storage device such as a HDD, Zip, MO on Windows 2000, you can use [Computer Management].

Here is a brief explanation:

1.Open [My Computer] and double click [Control Panel].

2.Double click [Administrative Tools] and start [Computer Management]. 3.The following window will show up. Select [Disk Managemet] of the [Storage].
