Starting therapy using oxygen
1Fit the oxygen connector to the oxygen inlet of the device.
2Attach the other end of the oxygen supply tubing to the oxygen supply.
3Press 
to start treatment.
4Turn on oxygen.

1Turn off oxygen.

Using the FiO2 monitoring sensor
Use of the FiO2 monitoring sensor may be recommended by your clinician.
CAUTION
Do not use the FiO2 monitoring sensor with the H4i humidifier.
Preparing to use a new sensor
1Before use, leave the FiO2 monitoring sensor open to the air for 15 minutes.
2Attach a new FiO2 monitoring sensor (as shown below).
3Perform the sensor calibration (see “Setup menu” on page 16). Note: The FiO2 monitoring sensor must be replaced every 12 months.
