Por favor identifique los siguientes componentes de la unidad VPAP y familiarícese con los mismos:

Cable de alimentación (A-3)

Bolsa para el transporte (A-4)

Tubo de aire de 2 m (6 pies y 6 pulgadas) (A-5).

ADVERTENCIA

! No conecte ningún dispositivo al puerto auxiliar. Si bien su proveedor de atención médica podrá conectar dispositivos especialmente diseñados al puerto auxiliar de la unidad VPAP, la conexión de otros dispositivos podría resultar en lesiones personales o en daños a la unidad.

En el domicilio, el único dispositivo que se puede conectar al puerto de comunicaciones es un módem que esté aprobado a nivel local. Dichos módems también se pueden conectar en un entorno clínico.

En el entorno clínico, todo PC que se utilice con el sistema VPAP deberá estar por lo menos a 1,5 m (5 pies) del paciente o por lo menos 2,5 m (8 pies) por encima de él. También deberá cumplir con la CEI 60950 o su equivalente.
